Mar 5 – Mar 21 – Arizona & Volunteering

As we leave California behind, we will be chasing the warmer weather and headed toward our first Habitat for Humanity build. This leg will begin with a visit to Lake Havasu, where it’s expected to be a balmy 76 degrees (although the record high for early March was 94), which would also be ok, because this stop is all about the water.

This wasn’t on the list until I found this image this morning.

With any luck, the desert wildflowers will be on display early, and our tour of Sedona will be full of spring blooms. Our next family visit, is in Chandler, to see friends of mine from my days in Boston. Next we hope to swing a hammer at a Habitat women’s build in Tuscon.
